About
It all started with a need and a dream. Living in what has been described as a childcare 'desert', Abbey set out on a mission to start a childcare center. But not just any care center. This one would be tech-free, hands-on care for the child as a whole individual. Today, she has created a team of teachers who value each family, a care center that promotes independence and bilingualism, while also using traditional childcare practices and Montessori principles.
Mission
At A.E. Academy, we believe in nurturing the whole child through a harmonious blend of Montessori principles and traditional childcare methods. Our philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, encouraging independence and fostering creativity while providing a structured environment that supports developmental milestones. We integrate American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish into our daily activities, promoting bilingualism and enhancing communication skills from an early age.
We are committed to providing organic meals that nourish the body and mind. Ensuring that our children receive wholesome, healthy food that fuels their growth and exploration. Our diverse curriculum not only focuses on cognitive development but also emphasizes emotional intelligence, social skills, and respect for the environment. At A.E. Academy, we strive to create a warm, inclusive community where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential!
